Time does fly…

Wow!  Doesn’t time fly?  I was just looking at when I sent my last blog and it was all the way back in May!

Well I’ve definitely been busy with my work and family life.

Jilna and I have set a wedding date as well so there’s a lot of planning to do for that!

In between that there’s stuff to do in the house, socialising with friends, socialising with my family, socialising with Jilna’s family, attending weddings and events….  Soooo much!

But I wouldn’t change this life.  It’s fun. it’s enjoyable.  It’s me.

With all the events happening it’s difficult to organise when you’re doing what with whom.  And if you have a partner it becomes really difficult to remember (especially if you have the memory of a fish like myself) what is happening when.

Here’s my quick and simple trick for partners with busy lives.  Now listen carefully…

Google Calendars.

You can sign up for a free Google account and one of the features is the Google Calendar.  You can share you can share your calendar with anyone else, like your partner, and they can share theirs with yours.  It shows up in different colours so if you have multiple calendars for different people (not different partners) then it’s easier to differentiate between the two.

If you are sharing with a friend, and you want to keep things private, then you can do with the “Private” function  on the appointments.

Amongst other features is the shared documents which let’s you share documents across with friends or work colleagues.

The best thing is that you can access Google Mail from anywhere across the world very easily.  So you don’t have to always carry your personal laptop about.

Check out http://www.google.com for more information or just drop me a line if you want.
