Recently, I’ve been trying to create an event for the 3rd Monday of every month but I just didn’t think it was possible in Google mail and so I was putting it in manually!

After a bit of rooting around I found this VERY simple solution.

1) Go to your Google Mail account and go to the calendar

2) Input the first recurring event you want to put in

3) Go to “Edit details”

4) Click on “Repeat” near the top

5) Select “Monthly” from the drop down menu

6) Repeat every 1 month

7) Repeat by “day of the week”

  Click done!!

Sorted!! So now you know how to book repeat events, go and do it!

Just kidding…

Well my Google Chrome DID stop working on my computer for the best part of this morning. Luckily I had my laptop to survive on.

For some reason, it said the User Profile was corrupted!!

So I tried to uninstall, reinstall, restart, boot kick, kick it, slap it, cry at it, shout at it… Nothing worked!!

Finally resorting to the ultimate I downloaded FireFox to search for a clue!!

I thought I would have lost all my beloved bookmarks which I had created over the years so it was a nail-biting process!

Luckily I found a site which had the following information and I hope it comes in handy to you:

If your browser user profile is corrupted, you can create a new user profile to replace the broken one:

Exit Google Chrome completely.

Go to the Start menu > Run.

Enter one of the following directories in the text field, then press OK.

Windows XP: %USERPROFILE%\Local Settings\Application Data\Google\Chrome\User Data

Windows 7 or Windows Vista: %USERPROFILE%\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\User Data

Locate the folder called “Default” in the directory window that opens and rename it as “Backup default.”

Try opening Google Chrome again. A new “Default” folder is automatically created as you start using the browser. You can transfer your old browser information to your new user profile; however, we recommend against doing so since a part of your old profile was corrupt. You can transfer your old bookmarks to your new user profile by copying the “Bookmarks.bak” file from the “Backup default” folder to your new “Default” folder.

(Taken with thanks from http://www.google.com/support/chrome/bin/answer.py?answer=142059)

Isn’t it funny how you find something out through the grapevine that you should have been told personally… :-S

Oh well. C’est La Vie. My thinking in the new year and years to come is:

“Do unto others as they do unto you…”

Now don’t get me wrong…. It’s not any of this “an eye for an eye stuff”. It’s just that in my experiences with certain people, especially over the last couple of years, I’ve learnt that some people just don’t learn and understand how to treat others. Whether they are family, friends, colleagues, etc. Some people were just born to think about themselves and only for themselves.

It used to phase me a lot. And I write this post now, not to have a moan or a go at anyone, but to enlighten other who may be in the same situation I’ve been in.

So listen in carefully… What they say is partially true…. Think about ‘Number One’ first. In my mind, ‘Number One’ means not just me, but myself, the family that I know care about me and who have shown it, friends who are so close that they are practically family, and those individuals who have always shown the compassion and helpfulness towards others and to me and mine.

This new philosophy is not about making someone feel as bad as you did… but simply to think on their level when dealing with them.

All I’m going to do is to provide them with the same level of respect and courtesy as they have done to me. Those who have treated me well have nothing to worry about. And those who don’t care how people act towards them, well good for them I say! That’s a whole other level to be thinking at but at least you don’t take on unnecessary stress.

Let me give you a hypothetical scenario… You’ve been treating someone with great respect and love, only to find that they hide certain things from you, or tell you at the last minute about important issues. You’ve felt a connection with them and opened up to them completely telling them lots of things, but they don’t return it to you, but do go ahead and tell other people certain items of theirs… Wouldn’t this annoy the hell out of you??? Well it sure did to me!! (Hypothetically speaking of course…)

So I’ve decided that instead of getting annoyed and pushing myself towards a heart attack, I’m going to remain calm, cool and collected.

Well that’s my rant… *cough, cough*… sorry… “educational talk”, over with.

Hopefully you can use this information with situations you’ve been in and I’m always happy to talk and let you know how I’ve dealt with other issues.

Don’t worry about things… This is life… There’s always room for change and improvement. If the little things don’t get to you, you’ll have an easier time with the big things.

So remember… Love, Enjoy, Stay Happy and Healthy, and remember those who are close to you every day. From Love comes great Living.

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

Hi there!

Around the end of August last year, I created a post about creating world wide buzz. Did you get a chance to read it?

If you’d like to read it again then have a quick look at the post through this link: http://sawan.wordpress.com/2007/08/25/10-easy-steps-to-creating-worldwide-buzz/

If you have then how have you been getting on with it?

I’d love for you to share some stories with me and I’d love to hear how you got on after using the material.

And if you’d like to test out some of the theories then head on over to http://www.prematma.com/resources/createbuzz/

Let me tell you, if you’ve never thought about creating buzz for your site or even getting traffic and interest in your products and business then this is one resource you NEED to have a look at.

Guaranteed that traffic is the biggest resource that a business can have and the way to get traffic is to gain interest one way or another.

Have a look at http://www.prematma.com/resources/createbuzz/ and if you have any problems then just drop me a line and give me a shout.

Have you thought things like “Maybe I need to have my own product. Maybe I need to invest thousands of £’s or $’s?

Well let me tell you something. It’s much easier, and cheaper than creating your own products or investing lots of money into making it work.

I used to think like that. That is to say, before I actually started to do something with it. I did the research, I started the processes, and before long, I was making money just by promoting other people’s products (legally)!

Here’s how it works:

- You find a product which you like

- You work out it’s market potential

- You market it

- You build your own mailing list through that

- You make a commission from the products (anything from20% up to 100% for some products)

- You’ve made money AND grown your list so that you can promote more products directly to them later!

Ok ok…. So some of you may be thinking “That’s all well and good but I don’t have time to research everything myself, or go to someplace far away to go on some course which doesn’t work to my timings!”

I totally understand that. I know that people are in different situations. You may be less enabled than others to be able to go out and learn something, or work somewhere. You may haveyoung children who are at school in the mornings and home in the afternoon when you need to make their food, or get their clothes ready, or give them a bath. You may not WANT to work in an office from 9 – 5 and that’s WITHOUT the travelling in to work and back home again.

There are any number of situations which you could be in which stop you going out to work somewhere else and for someone else. (Why work and earn for someone else when you can earn for yourself on your own time?)

This is why I’ve offered many people a chance to learn about Affiliate Sales from home. It can be done in their own time, at their own home, and at their own speed.

So what are Affiliates?

An affiliate is a person who markets other people’s products in return for a certain commission. Many areas on the internet have affiliate programs. You just have to know how to market them.Let’s shorten it down for you and get you the main points from this course.

I will teach you:

- How to find affiliate products

- How to Market Affiliate Products using your blog, articles, and pay per click

- How to do most marketing for free

- How to grow your list even if people don’t purchase the product

- How to write Sales Copy (the art of writing to keep the reader intrigued and want to purchase the product)

- How to simply leverage other peoples pitch pages to make you money

- How to use your time to the maximum efficiency.

There is always so much more to learn.

I am currently assisting people with this course in a number of ways. Either at their own home, over internet phone (completely free once you’re connected to your own internet), and over email.

My thinking behind it is this. Where are people most comfortable? At someone else’s office, or at their own home? My gut instinct (and the views of many others) says their own home, which is why I offer this service at people’s own home.

Have a look at http://www.prematma.com/Consulting/. This will give you more of an insight as to what you will learn in this course. When you want to know more, you can get in touch with me through the form on this page.

I hope to hear from you soon so that you can enhance your future!

Hey there all.

I’ve just finished writing up a sales page for a book called “Creating WorldWide Buzz in 10 Easy Steps“. I didn’t write this book but the guy who did… What a genius! His name is Kavit Haria, a very good friend of mine, and he is the owner of InnerRhythm. He has written this book from hours of sweat, learnings, and thousands of dollars in education. Now, he’s put everything into this book for easy access to all his knowledge.

I personally use a few of the tips and tools which are in this book and boy do they help me!

So what is “Buzz“? Well, quite simply put, it’s the energy surrounding your product, and even yourself, which attracts people towards it, which increases your sales and increases the reach of your marketing.

Let’s say this. A product without buzz will only go so far. A product WITH buzz will go worldwide. Which would YOU rather have?

Here’s a little taster from his book to wet your appetite:

Picture in your mind a funnel. Coming in the top of the funnel are
prospects. You obtain these through all the customer acquisition strategies we’ll talk about in step 6. Every prospect who buys something for the first time makes that product the front end product. The vast majority of your first-time buyers will purchase something from you that represent low risk, high potential return, and gives them a chance to get to know you as an information provider—the most common thing offered at the front end are free items such as newsletters, amples, reports, gifts, etc.

Once you have converted a prospect into a customer by selling him or her
anything (free or paid), the Product Funnel concept comes into play. You want to sell that person one copy of every product in the funnel. To do this, you’ll use a technique called “up selling” which involves convincing a customer to buy the next higher-priced item in your product line. Once they’ve done that, they become a candidate for the next higher-priced item. And so it goes.

Ok so you’ve heard from me, and you’ve heard from Kavit. Now what is it that you want from your product? Where do you want it to go? How do you want people to hear about it? How FAST do you want people to hear about it?

My friend, the choice is yours. If you want to get serious about it then GET SERIOUS! If you don’t…. Well… The choice is yours.

If you want to get serious, I would strongly urge you to have a look at “Creating WorldWide Buzz in 10 Easy Steps“.

If you have any questions then just drop me a quick comment on this post and I’ll be sure to get back to you as soon as possible.

Remember, your future is in YOUR hands.
